As far as ‘what about when guys do this’ - same thing in my opinion. I’ve had a lot of guys brag to me about how many girls they’ve slept with, and it doesn’t make me want to sleep with them any more than I did previously. In fact it would probably make me want to less. I wouldn’t want to become another notch on the bedpost.
So guy sluts are on the same level as girl sluts in my opinion. I’m not saying you should only sleep with one person, or anything, if you want to you can sleep with as many people as you like. Just don’t get annoyed when people judge you for it, because in all honesty you’ve brought it on yourself.
I see this opinion as very hypocritical, I’m afraid. “Slut-shaming” is on a par with “body-shaming”, or hell, anything that shits on things that a person decides to do with their life. A person’s activities in the bedroom are the business of no-one except who that person decides to involve (in conversation or physical action). This is true in a legal sense (I cite the Max Mosley case) and a moral sense (I cite being a fucking decent human being). If you sleep with someone, and it doesn’t affect anybody else but you, then I personally couldn’t care less. Good for you, go for it. Do it again tomorrow. Have fun, because you’re not a robot, programmed to do what society thinks is acceptable. You are in fact, a person, with opinions and desires and your own sense of morality. Act on those, not what people think.
